Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

That BSG airdate: it's so early now -- that I can readily imagine the date changing.

OK. But I'm going to live in hope with it for a while, because it is happy-making.

No, it would interfere with SPN!

(Unless the first hour airs at 9 pm Central -- in which case - perfect match.)

Oh, huh. I hadn't really processed that. Well...

Nope. I got nothing. That timing would suck. Except for the part about November.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Are we sure that's not the beginning of the Pegasus mini-series they were going to do? (Not going to look...)

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It doesn't *appear* to be the mini-series. But it very well could be. That bit is pretty unclear on tv.com.

Well, they could be counting the Pegasus mini/movie as two episodes. In which case, that's what it would be. (There are all sorts of interesting spec about the Peggy mini-series over at TWOP - including the idea that Gina and the Commander- whatserface were lovers.)

News on the American LoM:

Schlamme Helming New Mars

David E. Kelley has recruited The West Wing and Studio 60 helmer Thomas Schlamme to direct the pilot for his ABC time-travel drama Life on Mars, based on the BBC original show, Variety reported.

Schlamme will also executive-produce the pilot, which is in preproduction and slated to shoot sometime this summer. Kelley, Stephen Garrett and Jane Featherstone are also executive-producing.

Life on Mars is based on the BBC series of the same name, which revolved around a 21st-century detective (John Simm) who finds himself inexplicably thrust back into the 1970s, working on a case that may affect the future.

Casting on Kelley's Mars is under way. Rachelle LeFevre has already been set.

From Scifi Wire.

I (for some reason) didn't think that this show had been picked up.

Yes, that's the Pegasus movie. It's not a miniseries. They've said from the start that it would be 2 hours and air in the fall.

There is some casting info for the Pegasus movie up at the IMDB.

And isn't it odd that LoM-US has cast Annie but nobody else?
