Whoa. Good myth.

Wash ,'Our Mrs. Reynolds'

Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Where does Joe Flanigan get off being so damn cute? He's like his own Mary Sue. Bastard.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Not really. It's like Miss World, with singing instead of whatever they're looking for in Miss World.

Where singing can be any kind of value from thrash-metal future-punk to Bollywood love anthems. Good times.

Folks here are talking about it pretty consistently and it's therefore on my radar far more than usual. Slate had a great article on the Eurovision song contest and its political implications last year.

I do sympathize as well, but at the same time I also resent being graded on my participation.

Yeah, one of my comms is going through that right now as well. Actually, two of them are. It's kind of a pain.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I love that Flanigan picture. It's like the anti-ScrolldownFug. Just gets cuter.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Heh - Eurovision predates American Idol by half a century. (It was even a plot point in The Apple! Only because that movie took place in the far-distant future of 1994, they called it the Worldvision Song Contest.)

Don't get me started.

Eurovision's not a reality show. It's a competition.

Art Crawl!!!

Okay, reminded by a comment over at TWOP: on Blood Ties - Coreen is desperate for funds. The little scene where she tries to sell her blood to Henry is just classic.
