Who died and made you Elvis?

Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I do actually sympathize with the hissyfit, because I wouldn't take that job if you paid me, but still. I was slightly taken aback.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Dana, same thing happened to me. I am a little distraught! I'm hoping that things are more or less back to normal by next weekend.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I'm confused. Was there a new Who episode this past weekend or not?

I'm three episodes behind, mostly because "Dalek in Mahattan" was making me roll my eyes with the anvils so I stopped watching after the first 20 mins, but I really should catch up before the one with the casting spoilers air.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The most recent one is episode 6.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Was there a new Who episode this past weekend or not?

Doctor Who was preempted for this: [link]

Oh, my God. My eyes! Is that like a pan-Europe American Idol?

Hee. You've never heard of Eurovision before? I'm not sure I understand it, but it amuses me by its very existence.

Edit: That video looks like some of the shows I saw on the cruise ship last week.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Is that like a pan-Europe American Idol?

Not really. It's like Miss World, with singing instead of whatever they're looking for in Miss World.

Try as I might, I think only one of the songs that won when I cared (read: lived in the UK) ever made any impact on my world. No one I knew cared except for the nominal charge you get if your country wins at something.

I do sympathize as well, but at the same time I also resent being graded on my participation. I'm a contrary little punkass that way. I want to have my cake and eat it while lurking!
