No, it's shiny! I like to meet new people. They've all got stories...

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Did we ever discuss what Nutty would be wearing in this contest?

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Hivemind question -- what's an appropriate monetary (or gift card) amount for a high school graduation? I was thinking $50, but I don't want to appear cheap. It's for my cousin, who I'm not terribly close to, but that's more a matter of distance and a 15 year age difference than my feelings for her.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Wowza! Lovely picture, ita!

along with his young daughter who had been frightened by a mosquito in her own room

I can picture her lying there and thinking that perhaps mosquitoes had been the better option.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Vortex, I think that's totally appropriate.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I can picture her lying there and thinking that perhaps mosquitoes had been the better option.

Ha! I had the same thought. It also made me wonder, are the mosquitoes really big in Israel, or was it more of a "West Nile virus/EEE carrier" kind of scared. Also, this:

"This kind of thing doesn't happen every day,"

Cracked me up something fierce.

Did we ever discuss what Nutty would be wearing in this contest?

I could swear that Doc Martins were mentioned at some point.

Agreed.

I've been up since 2:30. This is going to be a long day.

Trust my rage

Vortex, I think that's good. Joe always scoffs at what I think is appropriate, but I think that's a good amount.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Since Nutty is a sensible sort, I'm figuring she'd be wearing the bear-proof armour that that Canadian inventor came up with.

I'm impressed with the leopard-wrestler, who remembered to be kind to animals...

ION, my coworkers hate me. We've all been assigned "a box of cases a day". I've been able to do it because a) I'm good with Excel and b) I work fast, but now everyone's shooting me dirty looks and sort of bitching.

So, I'm wasting some time here today so I don't look like such a tool.

Trust my rage

No one wants to tell me I'm not a tool?
