Oh and for the record? Too-much-wine me says smoochies now, questions later, but too-much-wine me is woefully devoid of backstory (I'm scrolling back, right now).
Backstoried up + sober me is way more cautious than drunk, contextless me.
(Drunk, contextless me is way more fun though.)
{{{Tommy}}}
I'll keep my fingers crossed for the both of you.
Oh Tommy, you make me need to find Ruby and hug her.
Question about separation: Why does it take so long? I mean, it doesn't have to, but why do you encounter people who are definitely never going to reconcile but who have been separated for years without pulling the trigger?
I don't know. I've wondered about that, a lot. Maybe in part because people know they made a promise? At the end of the day, my vows mean something to me, and if we ever (God forbid) got to the point where we were completely broken beyond repair, I think I'd want to be damned sure, before I made that legal.
But my neighbor crush includes smoochies, which is what makes me need to throw up a wall. But it's still a crush that could develop into a lovely friendship if I just, you know, build a nice little heart-load bearing wall.
ETA: I have the barrier to relationship msbelle mentions with the recent separation and the still attached to someone, at least legally.
Okay, I think this is really wise. Not to go all Gift-Of-Fear, but if you're wary, there's no need to rush. If it does grow into a truly lovely friendship, and it was supposed to be more, it will end up being more.
I say, if you've got misgivings, pay attention to them, follow them through and if you still have them, honor them. What works for some, doesn't work for all. In the Jesse's wise words, dude, people are different.
Or what sarameg said.
on a completely nonrelated note: ita, Grace is wearing the onesie you gave her right now and its fucking great. Except with her potbelly she barely fits in hers. [link]
Yay for potbellied Grace barely fitting into things. That's the way to grow, lil girl.
Sort of. But not really. They just won't try to attach the bottom to the top around his butt and belly. We got to hold them both again today, which was fantastic and relaxing.
Oh that's great, Kat. That's so good for you and good for the babies. You've had to endure so much intervention that granted, has kept them going, but it's kept you from one another. That's got to be a psychological and even physical strain in ways I can't imagine. I'm so happy you're getting to hold them now. It's so so good.
Oh, Tommy, I am so sorry. I will keep my fingers crossed for both of you.
Tommy, I am so sorry. I really hope they can figure out what's up with Senor and make him better.
tommy, I'm so sorry about Senor Sock. I'm thinking of you guys.
