Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Not worth the heart-ache and discomfort. I hate my hormones.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Married neighbors are definitely on the no-go list. Twice!

He's separated! I don't see the problem with dating neighbors either. I never see my neighbors. It's not like a work place romance where you have to see them.

Why cut down on your pool of available people to meet? That is not a red flag, that's self sabotage. You're never going to find a person if you start cutting out all the psychopaths and people with lizard tongues neighbors and such.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Where's the risk taking? Where's the action? Where's the fun?

Why don't you go out and risk take and come back and tell us how it went?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I never see my neighbors. It's not like a work place romance where you have to see them.

The only neighbors I ever see are the neighbors I see all the time. So I'm sure there's some guy I could date and then avoid, but I'll never meet him!

watching the Mets game, it is raining really hard.

Um, not here, right? That reminds me, I had yet another "who are these people" moment with yet another coworker the other day, when one told me she doesn't really follow baseball, she just has an MLB widget on her desktop. Yeah, OK.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

The problem with dating neighbors is when they turn out to be psycho you have to move.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Ugh.

I think my request to leave the bacon off my spinach salad confused the pizza place so much that they put double bacon on the thing.
