Hmm. I'll think about it, ita. Also, I finally have been told that we should be able to leave at 3.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I almost wish they hadn't told us ahead of time. Instead of getting any actual work done, I've spent the afternoon counting down the minutes and getting increasingly bored. At this point, I'm afraid I might actually die of boredom.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just had a talk with my boss. Which he, uh, called yesterday while I was home sick. In which he asks me how the new gig is going, and what I need from him in terms of support and/or clarification.

For some crazy (read: guilty over sick day) reason I asked him how I was doing so far. Not that the news was bad or anything--I just think he took the asking of the question to mean I was ready to be more go-to. Yikes.

I'd like to die of boredom. At the moment I will probably die of frustration while trying to remotely troubleshoot a wayward laser printer.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Warren Ellis just told me that I'm beautiful and destined for great things.

I thought I'd write that down before I fully melt into a puddle.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Strangers knowing what we knew about you all along, Allyson. Congratulations!

Did anyone look at those eyes on those babies? I think I just fell in love with those tiny creatures ( again)

Art Crawl!!!

FredPete - I'm fasting Ivan until tonight. And he seems to be doing rather well. Actually, right now BOTH cats are kind of begging -- because I went out to the public library and came back in. The perceive that as the sign that it's supper time. It is in fact, about 3 hours 'til supper.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Still at work. My coworker (who is also now my agent!) and I decided to hang out until 3 anyway and take a half day on Thursday to go look at condos. Yay!

Warren Ellis just told me that I'm beautiful and destined for great things.

And why would he lie?

I just had a magical 15-minute burst of productivity, and can now leave with a clear conscience.

Librarian Warlord

We can not leave early today because it it graduation. This is a HUGE improvement because it used to be that the staff was required to help with graduation and graduation was always the Saturday of the holiday weekend. Glad I didn't work here then!

I am supposed to be at graduation right now, but as there were no seats, and I'd already been standing on my feet for 3 hours, I decided AWOL was a good choice.
