Wash: Little River just gets more colorful by the moment. What'll she do next? Zoe: Either blow us all up or rub soup in our hair. It's a toss-up. Wash: I hope she does the soup thing. It's always a hoot, and we don't all die from it.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Had breakfast at 5:30 AM after having woken up at 4:00. By now, I'm just all, "WAIT! I'm tired!" and I sort of fucked up and forgot to pump. Oops. Damn. No way around it now.

I knew there was something I was supposed to do.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The good news is, if I leave early today, I don't think anyone will notice.

I would like to go to the Cape.

Would a really big cardboard box half-filled with Styrofoam peanuts be a good place for a nap?

I believe it would, yes.

What's a PMMA?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Oooh, further plus, I hope you all see something like this:

The New York office will close at 3:00 p.m. today.

What's a PMMA?

Pooled Money Market Account. I really have no idea what to do about this but I need to come up with something.

Another edit: I totally have "Don't Stop Believin'" in my head!

I wonder if you used styrofoam peanuts, if you could also find one of the injection foam things that shippers use to pack stuff to create a pillow.

Pooled Money Market Account.

I am guessing this doesn't have anything to do with Scrooge McDuck filling an Olympic-sized pool with money and then doing the backstroke in it.

What do you mean by "represent in a signature block"?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Try it and report back in the name of nappy-time science.

It would be so cool to be a nappy-time scientist.... Now I'm trying to think of a good name for a publication... Journal of Nappy-time Science or somesuch....

Ooh, good idea - we have some of those.

brillig

I have the overnight shift tomorrow night, but after that I have a week off. Yay! Except that week off is filled with a desperate attempt to get my car to pass inspection, get to the courthouse to tell them my car is legal, a dentist appointment and hopefully a large filling on Wednesday, and a doctor's appointment for Hubby on Friday.

Someday, dammit, I will simply get to rest.

Aargh. What is it about today? I'm gronked beyond all comprehension. I would seriously like to curl up under my desk right now (except I know what's been on that floor).

::sweeps everything off of Frank's desktop onto the floor, thus creating a space for him to curl up:: Ta-Da!
