* Harvard - 2200
Heh, I guess they leave the legacies out of those statistics because I've met more Harvard students who were dumber than a sack of hammers than from any other college in the Boston area. That includes Bunker Hill Community College.
I actually had to go look up SAT scores to understand how one could get an 1860, because when I took the thing, a perfect score was 1600. They changed the test in 2005, huh? All righty, then.
Fred, I'm so happy to hear Teddy is doing better!
ION, these modern kids are crazy, with the SAT-retaking madness.
INallabout me, I am the third person in an 8 person library to get the ick. most fun symptom for anyone that works in a library- stoopidbrain. The two that were recovering and myself had very empty looks on our faces. I had no idea how to get the toner cartiage out of the fax. I came home after story time. Because I just got the ick.
Has she dropped any hints about where she'd like to go, Suzi?

And they let them use calculators for the math part now, right? That kills me. I would have done probably a couple of hundred points better on my math part if I could have used a calculator. Pissed my h.s. math teacher off that we couldn't use calculators too. She was awesome but I got her too late to overcome my math phobia.
Suzi, FYI, a lot of schools aren't considering the writing portion in admissions decisons, just the math and verbal. The reasoning is that there's not yet any data that shows that the writing portion of the SAT effectively measures/predicts the student's ability to write on a college level. A 600 on each means a 1200 for most schools, which is quite good.
She is still all over the place, Sparky.
She is very interested in Physical Therapy/Sports Medicine. University of the Pacific is her top choice, though probably out of our $$ range. She is also looking at the Kenesiology (sp?) program at SF State and there is something at UC Davis she is interested in. Oh, and she is still in qualification for a big scholarship to Berkeley, so she would be ok with going there if she gets that. Yeah. Again, how is she mine?!?!?

I had an awesome math teacher my junior year. If I'd had her for algebra, I could have kicked ass. As such, I had her for Algebra II/Trig, and was WAY behind.
