That's rather craptacular. I wish I had helpful lockpicking suggestions, but pretty much my solution everytime I've snapped a key in the lock is to first go into denial and then yell fuck a lot.
Which reminds me, I need to see if my spares are less grindy than the current deadbolt key. It's kinda freaking me out.
OK, so people are handing things over to me, and then not liking when I tweak them (because they are my responsibility and I can make them work this way) and then they go and tweak something they supposedly handed over which makes me break all sorts of things and if you are still following this, that's amazing cause I can barely keep track and just stop making me look bad with your meddling. Hmph.
