At last, we have an alternative to Virgin Mary On A Grilled Cheese Sandwich!
Do folks know that the Vulcan "live long and prosper" hand sign is actually an old Jewish hand sign? (I forget what it means.) Nimoy, of course, is Jewish.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Thanks for the link, sumi. I agree with everything except this Things seem to be looking up for her now, in whatever direction she chooses to go, and I’m praying that it’s not too much to hope that nothing derails her.
Because I really like the way what little we've had of that plotline has been handled so far, and I want, in keeping with the way that stuff can go, particularly in a small town that holds rigid views on men and women, to see her deal with an attempted rape trial.
Bones: Brennan is not as different from her father as she might think. Hurt someone she cares about, and she goes medieval on your butt. Dad looked proud of her--though perhaps he's not a man you particuarly want to approve of your actions. I wonder what he wants to say about Mom.
I adore when DB gets to look all scary and adamant. He does it well.
And now I want to see where Hodgins lives and his car collection.
A quick Bones questions:
When did we meet her dad? I think I missed 2-3 episodes, but last I knew, her dad was still missing.
I was mostly thinking last night that DB plays hot very well. I was never that into Angel (prefering Spike) but I like him as Booth.
hopefully I won't get another fucking angled bob.
I have sometimes found it surprisingly hard to get a haircut different from the one I walked in with, which I just don't understand.
Kat, I am sorry to hear about you and Lori. I had no idea but I wish the best for both of you and for the babies, of course. I think I may have a few more pair of preemie-sized, hand-knitted baby booties I'd like to send to you.
DH called in to work again today--this cold has gotten to everyone and he's just miserable.
With the extent of this wet pet food recall, I've decided we're switching Oswald to dry food. He's not going to be happy but I'm paranoid I've been poisoning him. It didn't help getting an email from Petsmart indicating our buying records show we've purchased recalled food--even though we checked the pantry and it was long since consumed by him.
Ugh, Cashmere, that's scary. I'm glad all I feed the furballs is dry food, and occasionally tuna.
Kat, so sorry to hear about you and Lori. What a rough time. Love to you both and the kidlets, and here's to keeping nose out of it-ma.

I run into this problem. When I tell the stylist that I'm open to suggestions, they just kind of stare at me blankly. Kind of like how they need me to reassure them that I will not freak out if they cut off 8 inches of hair. It makes me wonder if people have sued them over a bad haircut.

Nimoy adapted it from sneaking peeks at the Kohenim blessing the congregation when he was a boy. No noone was supposed to look and now it's everywhere and for some reason that tickles me.
Bones for Stephanie: Brennan's Dad reappeared about half a season ago, via the resurrection of an old FBI case and evidence that Brennan's folks discovered in one of their bank robberies. There were threats to Brennan and her brother, and her dad reappeared to make it *very* clear that messing with his kids led to a very messy end.
