Explosion around the time of the start of the Cutty Sark fire. I did read that because of the ongoing renovation they have enough detailed information to build it back from scratch.
However much needs rebuilding, it'll cost a pretty penny.
I wonder about people.
I have a doctor's appointment for the finger today. Accidentally tried to support a hanger on it last night, and that was no fun. I hope they can work out the deal without X-Rays, though. Tedious and also no fun.
I have been filled with hate for most of the day, but I just got a dress in the mail! A dress which I ordered literally months ago, but was back-ordered. I would go try it on right now, but it came all nice on a hanger, and I don't want to mess it up before I get it home....
Has anyone "claimed" the explosion or fire?

I'm wearing one of my eBay scooter dresses, and that does help. It's burgundy, with white polka dots on the pleated skirt and the trim of the neck and arm holes.
I've decided (with decidedly skewed data) that scooter dress means a jewel neckline, dropped waist, sleeveless dress with the skirt often pleated and/or in a different colour/fabric than the rest. That accounts for 4/5 of mine.
Maybe the beagle is what is making the puppy CUTER THAN ANY OTHER DOG EVER!!!!1!!!!!
Maybe it was protesting the tea trade, a century or two late?
I'm very sorry to hear about the fire -- when I was at Greenwich, I didn't have time to more than walk around it, and it was on my Definite To-Do List for next time. ::sigh::
I saw a puggle at the dog park yesterday and you could see the beagle in the way it ran and held itself. Way wicked cute in person, I tell you what.

First mixup of the new job today - I got a call this morning from a woman who seems to be a) handling my in-processing and b) way out of the loop, directing me to a meeting at 1:30.
I gave up going to the mandatory gym stuff then to go, but guess what? No meeting.
Now I'm bored.
