I always thought the name Serenity had a vaguely funereal sound to it.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh yeah, and then I was going to run up to the land for a few minutes since I had a few hours to spare. But the SO didn't give the dog his antibiotic this morning, so I had to come back to the house to give it. Yeah, cranky.

I should just go out and buy an expensive coffee, huh? That would make me feel better and help me manage my time before the cut so I'm not just idling.

What is even happening?

Expensive coffee for the win, Liese (or for the save, at least).

I think an expensive coffee is definitely in order.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Here's a really excellent brief look at W's psychology--in a nutshell, he's "pathologically immature."

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Kat, I'll join the chorus of wishing you both all the best, and otherwise staying out of it. And extra helpings of vibeage for the babies.

Teppy, I feel like I ought to go on a salt run for you. When I had a raging sore throat at the mini-F2F in Cleveland, procuring salt was difficult--I mean, I didn't want to find a supermarket and buy a whole box of salt to use a teaspoon to gargle with, and I felt bad stealing a saltshaker from a restaurant. So Teppy, who was driving, ran through a drive-through at my behest to ask for salt packets, then decided to actually go inside instead. That salt literally got me through the rest of the trip. I was so sick the last day, I think I slept half of it away on Deena's couch.

So anyway, I second the probably a sinus infection, and I hope you get it cleared up soon.

Art Crawl!!!

Kat - I'm sorry to hear about you and Lori - but wishing you both the best and you know, what everyone else said: staying out of it.

Liese - so no FNL thoughts? I need to rewatch. Also, the person at TV Guide who is blogging FNL had the same overall reaction that I did to the episode so I know I'm not crazy.

Do folks know that the Vulcan "live long and prosper" hand sign is actually an old Jewish hand sign? (I forget what it means.) Nimoy, of course, is Jewish.
