Renee must go. She's such a bitch (and I don't mean that in a good way)

It's disconcerting to have an intersection that is part of your daily drive mentioned in the national news. I mean, yeah, I've seen busts go down there and all, but....

Also? Snowflakes are disconcerting.

Thrive to spite them

I hate that head scarf thing Renee always wears! Plus she tried to come off as innocent (imo) so I was glad Tyra called her on that.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm not sure if she's actually that sneaky or just oblivious; I'm tending towards the latter, with a large helping of malice.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

She's been hurt, you guys! That's why she's so mean!

Totally this, Todd. My favorite right now is "Wholahay." Heh.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Steph, if it's getting worse instead of better, it's time to alert the doctor, and if he doesn't try something else (I'm thinking heavy-duty antibiotics and a prescription gargle) it's time to say 'screw him' and see an ER doctor. Sore throats like this are infections and that can actually be very dangerous for the rest of your body!

I re-read what I posted at Ass O'Clock, and I see I didn't mention that the doctor also prescribed Zithromax. Which I am dutifully taking. So I ought to start feeling a lot better in a day or two.

As for the throat, it's actually feeling incrementally better -- it still hurts when I swallow, but not enough to make me wince and then swear.

Back to bed.

Hot tea (herbal if you want to sleep) with lemon and honey - it's really nice and it does help.

Sleep well and feel better soon.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Well, we love you both, want you both to be happy, and will stay out of it.

Seconding this.

Back to bed.

To rest with you! And it was a great conversation! The SO really liked you.
