Gwen: Demon, OK? The whole nine—cloven feet and horns and teeth. He wasn't wearing lamé though. Lorne: Yeah, the evil ones can't pull it off. It gets camp.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

ION, my cat is a tail-wagging motherfucker. Prince has a dirty mind. Joan Armatrading loves it when you call her names.

I so want White Castle now. Maybe watching Jon's commercial again will be enough.

I had a job interview today so my fingers are crossed for a good outcome.

Also, I have weird floaties in my vision. But psychedelicly colorful and spinny like a bad video. Please don't tell me this is what a migraine aura is like.

AND Miss Grace is officially extubated. No more vent. Let's hope that it sticks and she stays off it.

I've noticed a ton of ads for Waitress -- it looks cute! Although weird with the off-screen tragedy.

I saw it. I liked it a lot. K, with whom I saw it, wasn't so fond of it. It reminded me of Big Fish but 100% less annoying. I loved the pie combos she made and I thought Keri Russell was charming.

Ooh, new job-ma, Kat. Also, that does sound like a migraine aura, but I more often than not didn't actually get headaches with them, so...

Yay for Grace! And for Noah's surgery going well yesterday.

On a completely different topic, CSI: What's the deal with William Peterson being back? I thought he left. Now he's back. Was he just on a break ?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Yay, Miss Grace! Stay off the vent, girl! Tubeless is the way to be!

I am waiting for the following things:

  • Nails to dry (okay, I used Jet Set, so they're probably already there, but I don't feel like poking my toes to find out)
  • DVD to burn (OMG, could it BE any slower???)
  • Bev
  • 9pm

Until 10pm, I am limiting where I go on the Internets.

Unfortunately, this means I'm reading beauty blogs.

Damn, there's a lot of makeup I don't have yet out there. I want all of it. Now.

Oh, and perfume, too: [link]

That sounds like it would smell either heavenly or horrible.

YAYAYAY Grace! Come on, Noah, this is the time for a little sibling rivalry...

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

GO GRACE! That's such wonderful news!

Woohoo! And yes, keep it that way. That's such awesome news! More cuddlies! Now may her brother get jealous of no tubes and compete for extubation. Erm, I guess it is a little early to play the sibling rivalry card. Though they probably shoved each other around inside.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Nice work, Grace!

Jen, yes.

Yeah, when they were both on the inside, they competed for space, so sibling rivalry is nothing new.

Other happy things in my life right now:

meatloaf
mac and cheese
ginger ale
Atul Gawande's new book Better. It's fantastic. I love that man.
