I don't give a good gorram about relevant, Wash. Or objective. And I ain't so afraid of losing something that I ain't gonna try to have it. You and I would make one beautiful baby. And I want to meet that child one day. Period.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Am I the only buffista with an unholy love for Dinner: Impossible?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I would be happy to drink if it didn't involve being out late! And by late, I mean after 6pm. And they aren't even going until 6:30. Fuck that.

OMG. I am on a conference call with a guy who thinks he's having a one-on-one conversation. WTF? Has he never done this before?

Do people have ducks as pets.

My late father had a pet Duck as a kid. One legged. Apparently very friendly. Plus it killed rattlesnakes. (So unfriendly where appropriate.)

move out and draw fire

I had a pet duck as a kid. I named it Quackers because it liked crackers. The epitome of 4yo humor.

My parents gave it to me for Easter, and then decided that a pet duck wasn't working for them, and relocated it to the duck pond at the zoo. I was traumatized.

oh! Happy Birthday, Vortex!

What else do I need to put on my list to prepare for the weekend?! I feel like I'm forgetting something.

eta dag, I forgot to get my friends' baby something for his birthday party Sunday evening when I was just at the Target...Hope I can find a one-year old something appropriate at, like, a Sheetz.

Art Crawl!!!

Well, I don't love Dinner: Impossible but I do enjoy it when I catch it.

FYI: we've got a FROST warning tonight. Isn't that insane?

A visit to the Eastern Shore?

Hah! Yes! That's actually where I'll be. It's Ride for the Feast weekend. So, I'll be going down to Rehoboth tomorrow afternoon and then winding my way back to Chesapeake College on Saturday, as the riders bike their 100 miles.

And then back up to B'more on Sunday. Please to have let us thought of everything! And for it not to rain or be too windy or hot! And for everybody to stay safe on their bikes!

(I'm a little overwhelmed right now.)

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I never liked ramen or pot pies either, so I was a Kraft Mac 'n Cheese fanatic. I somewhat suspect this is why I came down with a cow protein intolerance. Anyway, the upshot is that I can't have my absolute favorite comfort food without regretting it for a couple of days afterwards.

In happier news, I had lunch with some of my ex-coworkers who miss me a lot, and report that I'd probably be quite dissatisfied with the state of the department and the work they're being given if I was still there.
