Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yay, Kathy!

It was a bit freaky when the three of us discovered we were dressed alike, and then a guy in a purple shirt stops by to ask one of us a question.

Ginger, I love you for saying that. I love that little sentence, even if it rarely has a reason to be used.

Make my own reasons, that's what I do.

Okay, I need to go out for lunch. I've been feeling like crap all day (I slept 12 hours last night, and feel none the better for it), and I can't imagine that working through lunch will make me feel any better. I'm going to take my really crap book (Robert Jordan--I have no idea where I am in the series, but I figure skipping a few books won't hurt) and go sit somewhere and eat hot food.

Period fashion question: What, other than go go boots, are appropriately mod styles of shoes to wear with go go dresses? In white, probably.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Stilettos?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Does having purple hair count?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Mistah Falwell, he dead:

I am unsorry.

I was doing a training session with the 3 new summer associates, and pointed out the WSJ link, and one of them said "hey, Falwell died" and then two of us kind of maybe grinned and were glad a little, and I am a bad bad person, but at least I wasn't alone.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

ita, I'm trying to forget my youth, but iirc, it would be platforms and clunky heels, frequently in black patent leather.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

What, other than go go boots, are appropriately mod styles of shoes to wear with go go dresses? In white, probably.

Not in white, but Mary Quant often used a variation on the Mary Jane shoe, but tarted up. Sandals were big too.

Let me check my mod fashion websites...
