Mistah Falwell, he dead:
I am unsorry.
I was doing a training session with the 3 new summer associates, and pointed out the WSJ link, and one of them said "hey, Falwell died" and then two of us kind of maybe grinned and were glad a little, and I am a bad bad person, but at least I wasn't alone.
ita, I'm trying to forget my youth, but iirc, it would be platforms and clunky heels, frequently in black patent leather.
What, other than go go boots, are appropriately mod styles of shoes to wear with go go dresses? In white, probably.
Not in white, but Mary Quant often used a variation on the Mary Jane shoe, but tarted up. Sandals were big too.
Let me check my mod fashion websites...
ita, my chatty!co-worker is Mr. Uber-Mod -- he wants to know if you can give a better description of the dress, so that he can recommend a shoe.
Unrelated to mod clothing -- the fuckwitted asshat teacher and assistant principal who staged the gun attack on their students have been suspended without pay until the end of the school year.
....which is 2 1/2 weeks away. Not an adequate punishement, IMO.
Well, you know, Corwood, I do have some home training...I could have a floral housing project delivered to his survivors.
But they probably "ain't receivin'" just now, anyway.ETA: I agree with Tep.

I'm really surprised they weren't fired.
It is likely that Dana will be stuck on jury duty. I have texted her back with my sympathies, and that at least she probably has a toilet. Now I am thinking about texting her again re: Falwell.
A few months ago there was a fuss in one of the Maryland schools. Turns out the abstinance-only sex "education" group had a little exercise they did to show how gross sex was - they'd take out a piece of gum and have the kids pass it around and each was expected to chew it. I think the message was supposed to be along the lines of the classic "you don't know where that's been". Anyway, one kid complained to their parents, who took it up with the school administration, and it turned out this group had been doing this particular exercise for YEARS. If I remember correctly, they're not being invited back.
