Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The problem with loud kittens is they often turn into loud cats.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

A flea collar usually indicates that someone cares about it, so let's hope it's reunited with its person soon.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

In the meantime, here's a handy illustration of knots and how to do them:

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Happy birthday, megan!!!

And, happy anniversary, Zmayhems!!

David Boreanaz is on The View today. I kept thinking that he looked so tan and healthy! I'm used to the paler look.

I really hope so!

Anybody else listening to Diane Rehm? Gingrich was on and left 3/4s of the way through unexpectedly and she was FURIOUS. I usually can't stand her but she's pretty awesome when she has her fury on.

Why did Gingrich leave?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Happy birthday, Megan E!

Happy anniversary to the Zmayhems.

I hate it when a voicemail comes in just moments after I duck out a hair early because I'm feeling under the weather. I guess I should either learn how to check it from home, or how to stop feeling guilty and self-conscious. Both seem equally momentous right now.

On the other hand it is pleasant when work disappears itself off your plate. I'm slowly getting the hang of that around here. Problem is, it also appears itself onto your plate. You just have to be wary.

Allyson, I just noticed that there is a Blooker (har de har har) prize for books based on blogs. So you should totally blog in advance for your next book to make yourself eligible for the $10K.

But I don't know what they're useful for! Boat, bondage, ad hoc sails, ad hoc sailors...it makes all the difference in the world.
