I hate it when a voicemail comes in just moments after I duck out a hair early because I'm feeling under the weather. I guess I should either learn how to check it from home, or how to stop feeling guilty and self-conscious. Both seem equally momentous right now.
On the other hand it is pleasant when work disappears itself off your plate. I'm slowly getting the hang of that around here. Problem is, it also appears itself onto your plate. You just have to be wary.

Woke up this morning to find my left eye completely bloodshot, and the upper lid puffed up. Saw an opthamologist(not the guy I'd seen before, since he was out of the office, but someone recommended by the first guy's office) and found out I have pinkeye. Is it any wonder I went home after getting my prescription filled, rather than going back to work?
Oh, and the cold is still here.
