Anya: It's lovely! I wish it was mine! Oh like you weren't all thinking the same thing. Giles: I'm fairly certain I wasn't.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Oooh, Nature's Miracle! I didn't think of that, and it would for sure work.

(I bet it would be good for skunk-related incidents, too. Not that we've had any, but it's useful to keep in mind for myself and dog-having friends.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

when I lived in England (93-94), our local italian place did individual pizzas, about the size of a dinner plate.

Yeah, that's what it seems like these people keep ordering. (And by "people" I mean various fictional characters, so.) I was just wondering if that was the standard over there, or what.

It worked, I have now set recordings for mac and for me. YAY!

Yay!

I also moved my bed into my livingroom. I kept falling asleep in my sofa, and I think I was riuing it, plus it is uncomfortable. And I live alone, so I figure, who cares.

That makes me laugh. Did you put the sofa in the bedroom? No reason not to assign the rooms in a way that works for you, really.

OK. I am putting this out there so I really do it. Today I am going to: clean (at least part of) my apartment, do laundry, make bread, and maybe go to the cell phone store to see if they can do anything about my crappy phone without my buying a new one.

Our wings are not tired.

They knew us there, and there was a carafe of house red on the table before we even got water.

Ah, no doubt tastier than the house red in Atlanta.

We get multiple large pizzas because there is never too much pizza. Pizza for breakfast!

I see a couple of new mommies in the thread this morning. Happy Mother's Day to Kat and msbelle and all the other moms. May life and your children treat you well today.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Mothers' Day to all the moms out there!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OK. Bathroom mostly clean, one drying-rack-full of dishes washed (embarassingly, there are more dirty dishes than that), bread nearly ready to go into the oven. So far, so good!

I went out to Whole Foods (not the one I started out for, as there was a road race in the way), got a bagful of Good Food, and had samosas for lunch. Now I'll see if I can get some home chores out of the way....

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Dishes all washed, recycling bagged up, bread in the oven. Now I'm hungry for lunch, but I don't want to make more dishes via making lunch! Woe.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Happy Mother's Day, All.

What ARE you doing up, Lee?

Let's just say my sleep schedule leaves something to be desired right now. I did get back to sleep, eventually.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.
