Also, you can tell it's not gonna have a happy ending when the main guy's all bumpy.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Ugh. I am still filled with the gronk and it's almost noon. Buffistas, we partied hard on behalf of Scola's 40th birthday.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

We technically get a vacation day for Good Friday, but can use it at our discretion as a floating holiday (and company tradition is to take it on one's birthday).

Today the caterer/deli that I normally get chicken & broccoli from had muffaletta sandwiches. Not bad, though it still pales in comparison to Central Grocery's.

Well, yeah. Napoleon House is the only one that is even in the same category.

My department gets no holidays between New Years and Memorial Day, but we do get an extra day for July 4th--this year, it's July 5th, which is on a Thursday. I'm going to try and take July 6th off so I can get a five-day weekend, but that might have to change if I get accepted into graduate school, because I might have to go down to Champaign the following week. If so, I'll need to come in that Friday just to get crap done before going away for 10 days.

We got cloudy skies with occasional flurries, and no Scola here. Blech.

Chicago better warm up by the time I get there. I didn't pack a heavy coat.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I'm sure some of the localistas would be happy to help you keep warm.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Gawd, this had me laughing at my desk: 300 Kittens

Peep this redonk video mash-up of the movie "300" and defenseless kittens

It's so funny because it's done so well....
