I didn't know diddly about Aerosmith until they worked with Run DMC. Which was kinda the point, I bet. GnR came onto my radar when they started backing with what felt like an orchestra in comparison to the stuff that flew under my radar. I quite like those histrionics. Not sure where either of those events are in the music timeline.

Where/when did the term "Mr. Brownstone" come to mean that? I've always thought it dates back to the Velvet Underground's referencing buying heroin in a brownstone in "I'm Waiting for My Man" but I have absolutely no evidence for that.

Girl, I went to my high school's orientation and there was a senior boy onstage with his band who looked just. like. Sebastian Bach with whassisface from Warrant's eyes. That was some good salesmanship right there.
