Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Will do, Vortex.

It's very weird. I went on a vintage slip shopping spree on eBay (I really should have my PayPal finger removed) and now I have slips I am never going to wear under dresses because I don't have applicable dresses. Which means...nighties.

Tonight is my first nightdress night. It's going to be weird.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

FWIW, I mostly sleep in old t-shirts in the summer. They're worn nice and smooth, I can throw them in the hamper right away if they get sweaty (as they do on sultry nights) without worrying that too much washing will wear them out, since by definition they're on their last (nonexistent) legs.

Perhaps I'd be moved to get some better nightclothes if I had a nonexistent sex life. And if my grandmother had wheels, she'd be a bus.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have a nightgown I bought to wear as a slip, so that evens things out?

I have never owned or, to my knowledge, needed a full slip. Is that odd? I have half slips in different lengths and colors, so there's that.

And in other news, I'm Netflixing Profit at the moment. Oh, my. This led to my needing to find out about this whole Adrian Pasdar an Natalie Maines being married thing - apparently, if the internets are to be believed, they met when they were paired as groomsman (is that a word?) and bridesmaid at one of the other Dixie Chick's wedding. Kind of sweet, actually.

Whoa. Blair just announced he's stepping down in a month.

And in more politics, great ad from Bill Richardson: [link]

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Hah. I've had conversations with students almost identical to that note. (Though I've never had anyone trying to change a final grade, just a test grade.)

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

All the weird shit happens in Cincy. Except the stuff that happens in Cleveland.

Maybe Giles was wrong about the location of the Hellmouth....

Wait, this is Ohio, there's probably one in both places.

I don't think it's odd. I only became obsessed with them after I bought a lace dress, and didn't want to pay like $100 for a slip dress to wear under it. I figured there's got to be a cheaper actual slip!
