Spike: I'm not a monster. Xander: Yes! You are a monster. Vampires are monsters! They make monster movies about them! Spike: Well, yeah. Got me there.

Whoa. Blair just announced he's stepping down in a month.

And in more politics, great ad from Bill Richardson: [link]

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Hah. I've had conversations with students almost identical to that note. (Though I've never had anyone trying to change a final grade, just a test grade.)

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

All the weird shit happens in Cincy. Except the stuff that happens in Cleveland.

Maybe Giles was wrong about the location of the Hellmouth....

Wait, this is Ohio, there's probably one in both places.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have never owned or, to my knowledge, needed a full slip. Is that odd? I have half slips in different lengths and colors, so there's that.

I don't think it's odd. I only became obsessed with them after I bought a lace dress, and didn't want to pay like $100 for a slip dress to wear under it. I figured there's got to be a cheaper actual slip!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have an upper cost of about $15/slip, and ended up clicking on anything pretty. And many were.

My normal summer nightclothes varies from just the panties to boxers, T-shirts, camisoles, linen/cotton PJs, silk PJs--whatever grabs me that night. Now I have a bigger repertoire.

It's all undriven by the idea of spectators. I'm selfish like that, and also unwatched.

Now tagless for your comfort.

This shit's getting old.

I really should have closed the windows and used the a/c last night. It wasn't so much the warm as the muggy. And noise. It was noisy last night. Glrmph.

sarameg, I had neighbors fighting with cops called to the scene at 1:30 a.m. We should have shut the windows and turned on our a/c at that point.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ugh. Noise outside is the one drawback to open-window weather, which is otherwise the best weather.

So, last night on my way home, some of the local kids were singing "Baby Got Back" on the sidewalk, and I wondered: how do they even know that song? Do they think of it as an "oldie"? Because seriously, it came out well before they were born.
