But I do buy Lactaid for milk, which freaking rocks. And in addition to being tasty lactose-free milk (I used to hate milk as a child.) it has an inexplicably long shelf life. Like, four times as long as regular milk. In my house where milk doesn't go fast, it's really economical for us to be able to buy it and have it around for a while.

Yes! Me, too. I love being able to drink milk without fear of intestinal issues, plus the long shelf life is wonderful.

Yeah, I know people who buy Lactaid milk just for the long shelf life.

The last time I tried Lactaid milk, it tasted like chalk and had a weird texture. Have they improved the formula in the last few years?

I dunno, Jessica. It tastes great to me. It doesn't taste or feel any different than regular milk to me, other than it doesn't make me sick.

Although the life sentences were automatic, Sanders and Thomas begged for leniency before sentencing. Sanders urged the judge to look past his "perception" of the couple.

Formula - not soy milk. Babies can thrive on soy formula just fine. Only a couple of true ignorami would just give a baby soy milk.

I doubt prison food meets vegan requirements.

My mother didn't breastfeed and my sister couldn't have dairy. The doctor had her feed her rice water. I don't know what kind of formula options were available 60 years ago. I'm certain any number of vegan organizations could have helped these parents had they actually noticed their child was starving to death.
