Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Aiee. I hope the air quality improves quickly. Simi was pretty nasty around their last wildfires, but we were nowhere as close as Allyson is to this last conflagration.

Stephanie, I'm sorry to hear about what happened, and hope you bounce back on all fronts as soon as possible.

I have weird bruising issues. Which is a given, I guess. On my right arm they're even weirder. It seems that instead of being visible on my arm bruises drain down to my hand where they proceed to be big, bright, ugly, and start off with tingling and may move onto pain if there's enough blood.

My knuckles have been red since the weekend, but at least you can see the actual knuckles now. The really horrible part is that the sides of my middle finger scream with pain to the touch.

So what do I poke during my last meeting? Enough pain to make me jump, and I do it twice.

After chastising myself I then go to hold a door open for someone while juggling hot tea and papers and the door handle slips right between same fingers.

Now my head hurts.

But I do have my crack-containing coffee cake muffin. I've downgraded myself to three a week, and will go down again to two next week.

It was just too much.

Vortex, I think you meant to be in Bitches.

Since I started teaching good ol' Mackers this week, I'm finding this allusion especially amusing.

I have to watch the Netflix disc of the Ian McKellen/Judi Dench Macbeth tonight (zonked out last night), so lots of Macbeth to go around!!

Oh!

They've released some more information on the "culprit." It turns out the fire was started accidentally by a homeless man who lives up in the brush above the golf course. He fell asleep while smoking a cigarette. They're not charging him with arson after all, apparently. He was badly burned by his own idiocy, so that's probably punishment enough.

The status is NOT quo.

That's the one I'm using (along with clips from the Polanski version) to supplement our own reading and acting! I'm also having them listen to a BBC radio version for certain scenes. It was cute seeing girls in cute uniform skirts be "witches" today.

I just attended a benefits meeting in which the Aflac representative and I were heckled by a demonically possessed goat masquerading as a duck.

Um. That's different. How's your temperature doing?

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

The best Macbeth I've ever seen was by this troupe [link] Halloween night under the stars in the performance dome at Centenary College. A quick look at the website tells me they still head down there. I may try to catch them next year.
