I'm trying to figure out what to send my mom for Mother's Day. Is there a site for sending pretty yet not ridiculously expensive plants? I love my mom, but I'm not spending $100 to send her an orchid.
It's possible it's not a science as such, and I should keep things simple. But that's just a rumour.
Hey, I had a whole science fair experiment one year that was just letting bread sit out and mold It was science!
shrift, I like proflowers.com, not sure how they are on plants.

Thanks! They're a little pricier than I wanted, but not by much. I can work with that. Also, I am so lame, because now I want someone to send me an Assorted Herb Garden: [link]
Ooh, I like that. Proflowers is cheaper than most order online flowers, as far as I can tell, but nothing beats actually calling your local florist.
I am back at work. Probably. It's possible this is all a dream....
OMG, plants hate me today. Or I hate them. Either way.
I'd need to call my sister to find out who the local florist is, these days. I just, you know, don't want to be the absentee kid with the lame gift.
Some time ago, I ran across something that mom would like, and so I planned to use mother's day as an excuse to give it to her. Of course, I did not purchase it at the time.
Do I even recall what it was? No.
While in Atlanta we visited Frock of Ages [link] and saw so many lovely things. Many prettier hats and frocks than listed on the website. I purchased a couple lovely embroidered hankies for my mother. She always has a ladies hanky in her bag. It was fun to find something I think she will actually enjoy and use.
