Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm waking up earlier tomorrow than I have all week. This picture is flawed.

I want to go shooting in a skirt. I'm having a major femme phase, no doubt sparked by the weight I've gained since I've been pandering to my neck.

I even wore eyeshadow and eyeliner today. And cried it off in the doctor's office (interesting tidbit: my nose goes almost the same colour as my hair and Clinique's Black Honey lipgloss).

I wonder if there's waterproof liquid eyeliner with a similar applicator to my Palladio--it's the first eyeliner I can put on without looking like I've been attacked by a toner cartridge. But it'll come off if I sweat. I mean, if I ever sweat again.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Random poll question: When you think about Vanessa Williams, how soon do you think about scandal? Ever?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Pretty much never.

In the bath, the whale TOTALLY wins.

I've supervised baths as a babysitter/nanny up to 10. The latter years were mostly as Cindy described "Did you wash this ?" IME, it depends on the kid's version of clean.

Tonight has reinforced my wish that nannyng was a viable, sustainable career outside of SuperNanny. Talking about them, I miss the kids and the grins they bring.

I love that she's the only Miss America whose name I can remember, and I think of her as beautiful and talented. If I think of the scandal it's to laugh at how unscandalous it actually would be these days.

Okay, so Percoset works, if you're keeping tabs.

Lordie.

I almost talked about porn at work today (unrelated to the Percoset, FYI). It's one of those work environments, and it makes me wary. I've become quite the guttermouth these days. It's the pain. Makes me brazen. Mustn't do that at the day job.

On the upside, all the sort of chatting that I wouldn't have done at my last job but do here looks like it's going to score me a butterfly knife Monday. And maybe a switchblade.

Batleth! That's the word I was looking for in today's knife conversation. Punctuated however. Those Klingons are confusing.

I kinda read porn at work today. Oops.

I also had a long conversation with one of the three paralegals who have offices near me. Usually all three of them have long conversations about wedding plans right outside my door, but the wedding is tomorrow, so two of them were gone today, and I think the third was lonely.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

DH was VW's agent for a time, so I have gone to a premiere of one of her movies (a bad one with Arnold Schwarzenegger in it) and sat at her table at the party at the Hard Rock afterwards. She was very nice and just as beautiful live and close-up. She was married to her ex at the time and he was a doll.

Wary. Not weary. It makes me wary.

I don't know what the web filtering protocol is at work. I sneak over here every now and again (but often am posting from my PDA instead) and take a peek at Facebook.

Robin--was that Rick Fox you were sitting with?

I think the movie was Eraser. I've seen bits. There's a crocodile. Or an alligator. I can never remember.

This is the VW of Ugly Betty? She rocks that role.

Alligator has the nose bump. Er, or vice versa. Crap. One of them!

edit: crocs have the bump. Man, I retain little.
