Before I dash off to work, I have to report I'm chuffed. I'm chuffed that my neck is no longer retaliating against me, no matter how long the ceasefire lasts.
I'm also chuffed that I'm wearing these stockings (finally got off my duff and ordered from your favourite store, Kat) under a black skirt (which should be shorter! I want to show them off!) with a pale pink turtleneck and a black velvet blazer.

Kat - I'm so sorry to hear the further bad news.
Just looked at the map -- so the Buffista Isle must be in the Ocean of Subculture - somewhere. (I wonder if we have dragons?)

Kat, one of my sisters (not the one in LA) has the chronic EBV and has had it since before her kiddos were born. She breast fed all of them and I don't think she would have done that if there was any danger of passing on the virus to them. Your babies are, of course, in a different category for exposures they can tolerate -- but maybe this will help give some weight to the "this is going to be okay" part of your brain. I'll be amongst the many hoping everything really is okay.
I will not smite the bitchy coworkers who are expecting me to be psychic. I will simply forward their moronic communications to the appropriate parties. I can be an adult. I so totally can.

It's not looking good for the Royals this year. I was hoping they could build on their one game from last place finish with at least a two games from last place finish. It's still early though.
I'm done having my emotional meltdown. Everything seems more melodramatic when unexpected events occur at 4:00 AM. Even if you are already awake at 4:00 AM.
Chances are I have the virus (if the CDC is to be believed) and let's hope I was exposed to it before this so it doesn't manifest in mono. I have to call my doctor's office at 8:30 (meh) and I'll try to talk to a nurse to get an answer. In the mean time I should take a shower.

Last night was a rough one! Sheesh. I'm glad ita is perkier this morning and that ...well. It is not longer 4 am. And I vote no mono.
Today has been too busy already. Want nap.
so I am "busy" in the waythat I desperately need things to be done, but cannot do any of them myself.
I am supposed to have a client call in 30 minutes, but the person who I need on the call with me is in jury duty and unsure if she will have break. So I have had to to the client (that we are already 2 days late in delivering to) that I am not sure if we can have the call or not and I am not sure when I will know when we can have it. Awesome. Totally responsible appearance.
