It's not looking good for the Royals this year. I was hoping they could build on their one game from last place finish with at least a two games from last place finish. It's still early though.

I'm done having my emotional meltdown. Everything seems more melodramatic when unexpected events occur at 4:00 AM. Even if you are already awake at 4:00 AM.

Chances are I have the virus (if the CDC is to be believed) and let's hope I was exposed to it before this so it doesn't manifest in mono. I have to call my doctor's office at 8:30 (meh) and I'll try to talk to a nurse to get an answer. In the mean time I should take a shower.

Things on my list for the day, in honor of msbelle.

    • steam clean glider (seriously this will take me forever)
    • label full boxes and move to the garage
    • send in rebate form
    • continue to search for mother's day gift
    • buy two baby gates after I measure the doorways
    • leave message for social worker at NICU re: regional center
    • call my OB to get leave forms that I left there because I need them by Friday.
    • get wireless USB adapter for Tivo (please let this work as we don't have a phone line)
    • possibly order a phone line

so I am "busy" in the waythat I desperately need things to be done, but cannot do any of them myself.

I am supposed to have a client call in 30 minutes, but the person who I need on the call with me is in jury duty and unsure if she will have break. So I have had to to the client (that we are already 2 days late in delivering to) that I am not sure if we can have the call or not and I am not sure when I will know when we can have it. Awesome. Totally responsible appearance.
