Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

the best vanilla, plain vanilla, ice-cream I ever tasted was Brewers

Bryers. They put bits of actual vanilla beans in the ice cream.

Bryers.

Thanks! I *knew* I was getting it wrong, and unlike the hivemind, Google is still not good enough with such different spelling, expecially when I don't have the time to really look seriously.

Oh, yeah! They were actually visible - little black dots all over the white of the ice-cream.

(Also, hi, Tom! It's been forever since I posted with you! You were probably in your former age back then, I guess.)

I don't think my bosses would be so understanding.

Yeah, you have all that don't-mix-religion-and-work stuff in the USA, too, right?

Well, to a point. Christmas still gets most people two days off outside of hospital staff and vital services.

I miss Häagen-Dazs' amaretto flavor ice cream.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Oh, msbelle - last weekend I went to spend shabbat in Jerusalem with a friend. I got there with two more (mutual) friends. When we got into the car I noticed that all three of us were wearing pink shirts. All very different kinds of shirts, and even different shades of pink, but pink nonetheless. I thought about you, and (since it was late morning in my timezone) hoped you managed to smile in your dream or something.

[Edited because my spelling abilities are apparently on a strike, as well.]

IOBabyN,

College sumo wrestlers hold toddlers Rion Yuine, left, and Seira Aoki during a contest known as Crying Sumo on Saturday in Tokyo, Japan.

Babies face each other and are coaxed to cry. The first to bawl is declared the winner. The ritual is a wish for the good health of the children, as crying reputedly is beneficial for babies.

At least the babies get to wear cool costumes....
