Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

IOBabyN,

College sumo wrestlers hold toddlers Rion Yuine, left, and Seira Aoki during a contest known as Crying Sumo on Saturday in Tokyo, Japan.

Babies face each other and are coaxed to cry. The first to bawl is declared the winner. The ritual is a wish for the good health of the children, as crying reputedly is beneficial for babies.

At least the babies get to wear cool costumes....

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'm disturbed and amused at the potential ramifications of the Slave Princess Leia costume FOR YOUR DOG.

If Freud were alive now, I think that'd make his head explode.

Metal Vader t-shirt (click on "enlarge")

Darth Vader as a heavy metal guitarist. Hmmm... I wonder what kind of music Vader listened to....

The Metal Stormtrooper shirt is even goofier: [link]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Christmas still gets most people two days off outside of hospital staff and vital services.

You're in an environment I consider lucky. This job will get me two days off at Christmas, but before that the best I could hope for was one and a half. Often just the one.

Their Mayan chocolate should appeal to those who (unlike me) like a generous dose of cinnamon in their chocolate.

God! That sounds amazing. Sadly I'm on a new diet as sitting on my ass feeling sorry for myself seems to be bad for me (who knew?!)

msbelle, feel better soon. PLEASE. K is sick like a very sick thing and I'm worried I will be sick soon too. I certainly hope not, but it seems probable.

yay good open heart surgery! Given my recent surgery experience I have precisely ZERO desire to watch anyone getting cut open. Especially myself. Too much viscera involved.

I also made my Mac Mini wireless (YAY!) after a month of dithering. It required a huge WEP code but it all worked out. Now if only I could get the Tivo to work and the steam cleaner to work, life would be GRAND.

I have a doc appt to get approved for both my leave (already taken) and clearance to go back to work next week (don't wanna go) today then therapy. I so want to break up with my therapist, but I don't know how.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Woo! I might be getting a Trader Joe's in my neighborhood!

Sweet! I thought they were planning to open in Sunset Park (near where the new Whole Foods is going), but this is better!
