Assholes. I also notice that their expert who says it's not a big deal wrote a book about which the summary says this, "The focus is selling, not how to comply with federal red tape and administer federal contracts."

Oh Army Corp of Engineers, you couldn't maintain the appearance of propriety for two years?
Bastard coated bastards with bastard filling.
Don't forget the bastard sprinkles and bastard-crumb crust.
Don't forget the bastard sprinkles
And the bastard kprinkles.
And a root.
I'm not sure they deserve a root
No root for them.
Meanwhile, I'm listening to the "Habeas Schmabeas" episode of This American Life on my iPod and feeling like my entire brain is going to explode with the insanity of what the Cheney Administration has done at Guantanamo. I can't even begin to express how awful it all is.
I heard part of that on my way home from work Saturday. The interview with the two detainees was horrible.
How the one guy was telling people, "No, no, being transferred to American custody is good!" was heartbreaking. Though I did laugh when they kept asking the other guy if he wanted to go home, and he said "No I love it here! I love you guys!"
When I first heard that ep, I ended up sitting in my car at the 7-11 swearing. My cashier guy (seriously, he sees me coming and fetches my order and always throws in a lighter gratis) came out to ask if I was ok, because I was yelling at the radio. I told him it was about Guantanamo and he said "Oh, that's a good reason to be mad."
The neighbor girl who comes by to visit? Is gonna be moving this summer. Her dad is buying a townhouse in the county. I'm happy for them (it's been a big goal of his) but will be sad to see her leave.
