Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I watched some open wheel racing a few weekends ago. It was in Vegas. -- Champ car racing? I didn't watch much because they went a few laps waiting to start and then there was a crash right off and I got bored waiting for more racing.
Yep, Champ Car in Vegas opened up their season. My dad was there. I? Was jealous.

That first lap crash really did slow things down for way too long. I hate when they wreck at the start. All that adrenaline with nowhere to go.

Although it's much prettier in High Def than normal. And the street course racing looked more interesting than just going in an oval.
Want. High. Def.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Fortunately I became a Boston fan after we'd ceased to make it further than 4 or 5 games into the playoffs if we had a weak opponent and Ray was firing on all cylinders, so I've never had much in the way of hopes to dash. 2001 and Bruins West was a novel experience.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Me too! Me too!!! Yay, Megan! I knew you'd wow them. Of course I'm sad you're leaving this coast but I'm out there at least once a year so I may end up seeing you more after you move then I did before.

I didn't forget you. In fact, I think you are the one to blame for the second martini!

And, it looks like I may have just talked someone into to coming to roller derby! Whooh!

As for the move, if I had a car, I suppose I could ship most of my stuff media rate, and schlep the rest, but as I really want to try to squeeze in a trip to my family in France before I go to the land of (almost) no vacation, time is of the essence.

Yes! I was drinking vicariously then!

Sweet! Check out the new promo pics for my friends' the Night Terrors (2006 CCRG Champions!):

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

YAY Megan! I'm not sure I can be any help, since I am out in the boonies, but if I can, just let me know.

IOmemeN, the amount of paperwork I should be doing has become tiresome, therefore I am going to read fic instead of doing any of it.

Thrive to spite them

Want. High. Def.

The tv was an Xmas present to myself. Of course I can only afford the cable package where I get only the networks in High Def, but still it's beautiful thing. Hockey is wonderful in high def.

Nathan Fillion looks amazing as well. Some actors don't look that great but he looks good. Oh! And Hugh Laurie's eyes! The color blue just pops right off the screen like lasers.

My tv is scary old. I suspect whatever replaces it will be high def. I just am waiting until it has lived its life fully because I am cheapcheapcheap. And because if it times dying right, I can maybe sneak it on the Christmas list for whatever year the replacement needs to happen.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

David -- when does the "Best of the South" issue come out?

I have no idea. I think they come out quarterly. Next quarter?

Yay!

I just got called into the Big Boss' office. It sort of terrifies me every time, but he's always so supportive and helpful when I say, "I've never done that before." He's like Bizzaro Boss. This is probably why I haven't been emailing Lee nearly so much, i.e., I have so few things/people to complain about.

Hmm. I'm not sure that's acceptable, even though it is good.
