Willow: Something evil-crashed to earth in this. Then it broke out and slithered away to do badness. Giles: Well, in all fairness, we don't really know about the "slithered" part. Anya: No, no, I'm sure it frisked about like a fluffy lamb.

Coding and Sleeping

That reminds me I need to at least skim the reading about how to be a better Methodist for the study group tomorrow. I suppose for me, believing in God would be a good start.

Ann, that's a ferret.

All I know is, I shouldn't read tommyrot's posts while drinking water.

And it's even worse to hit yourself with the shovel. Ruins your whole day. Which isn't good, even if it's already been ruined in other ways.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

what's the opposite of shocked?

Grounded?

I think it'd be "insulated." You can get shocked when you're grounded.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Pants pocket is also where you want to carry your lighter or matches.

NOT THAT I WOULD EVER DO SUCH A THING.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Heh. Although, when I've forgotten, I've never had my Implements of Death Fire taken away anyway, so.

I just told my new employee to basically give herself a seminar on excel, because I don't really feel like teaching her, but she should know the basics. Was that wrong?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Yeah, she hates to get up early and doesn't like the idea of going to class regularly.

She is on Emmett's team in this wise.

We've just started allowing Emmett to roam free after school instead of going to his aftercare program. Albany is a small city (1 square mile) and between the main drag on Solano, University Village (where his aftercare was, and where the baseball fields were) and various friends houses he's extremely happy and excited to have the freedom to roam around.

And he's got a cell phone now for check in and to coordinate pickup.

He's been all goony with "I love my freedom!" which is nice to see though I'm still a bit anxious about it.
