Punishingly Intricate

eh sushi is so sad!

I had really yummy whole wheat pasta w/ multi-herb pesto and extra pine nuts & grape tomatoes & shredded asiago.

I'm thinking I might run to the mall to pick up some new black fishnets (I lost my best ones on NYE!) and get a gelato. I haven't had one of those all year! And the gelato place at the Columbia Mall has the best mint chocolate gelato.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Have a burrito.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Cosi Buffalo Blue sandwich. not enough.

I am waiting for answers from people on what should be a BIG deal and yet no one is getting back to me. My whatever attitude is taking over.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I just had an Eggo.

We buy Eggos in bulk. Seriously.

Mmmm...Cosi Buffalo Blue sounds really good. And I've already eaten!

(I lost my best ones on NYE!)

So very buffista to have more than one set of fishnets!

Have a burrito.

I decided to play it laconic like John Sheppard and have a turkey sandwich. I'll try the burrito place tomorrow.

I want a burrito now, but here I am not having a burrito. Maybe tomorrow my burrito will come.

The podcast talk earlier has reminded me to check for the latest SETI podcast. Another podcast I really like, but should be avoided by anyone with a pun phobia.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Gonna put a patty and some coco bread in the oven, and clean up and go to work. I'm pretty sure I can do this.

Oy.

So, um, I'm dumb. I've lost a day. Not just a day, a day which has the number "17" in its date. I've lost yesterday. And I only realized it now.

And it wouldn't be so bad (other than for my mental health and the like), if it weren't for the fact that according to the Buffista Calendar, the 17th is Sheryl's birthday. Sigh.

And, I mean, I even knew it! I knew that her birthday is the 17th, because, well, it's 17, so I kinda noticed. I was even pleased for her that her birthday doesn't fall on Passover this year. And then what did I do? Went and lost a day and missed her birthday entirely as if it were a piece of Chametz or something.

So, just to clear things up: yeaterday was Sheryl's birthday, which I hope was extra special and will be followed by an extra great year, because, well, I owe her now, in a way. And today is beth's birthday, because today is the 18th.

Sigh and oof all at once. I know it's minor when compared to what happened in the USA yeaterday, and that's just the one example, but still. I wish I didn't space out like that. Sorry, Sheryl and beth!

[Edit: sorry, I'm not expressing myself properly. I wish I had enough brains to rephrase the last sentence so that it wouldn't read as bad as it does now, to my eyes.]

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Today's lunch is brown rice mixed with hummus, grilled turkey, and a very tasty salad of diced cucumber, tomato, avocado, and greek olives. All packed in cute bento boxes, no less.

The brown rice with hummus is even tastier than I expected it to be. I think I've found a new bento box staple item.
