What is even happening?

Not Brenda M... I think her last name is D. (Why is my brain filled with this kind of thing??)

I hear ya. I know her last name, from when I lurked. How useless is this information?

John, yesterday's respiratory therapist, got Noah all calm and stable after doing all sorts of stuff to him. I waited a few minutes and went over and ruined all of John's work by poking at Noah and getting him all riled up again. I knew it would happen and told John that I may as well get him riled up since someone else currently has to deal with Noah when he's upset. John found it funny when I pointed out that I would be sure to pay for it soon enough when I had Noah at home.
Heh. When you get him home, the rules are: never bother a happy baby; never touch a sleeping baby.

Yep. I think it was World Crossing though (that came after TT, right), right before the board moved here. Sparky lurked for a long time.

Lee, did you not delurk until Firefly? I have this distinct memory of you inviting everyone to a Firefly viewing party. You were using the Perkins name then, and I may have been Suspicious of someone who (as far as I knew) delurked to lure people to their place and axe murder them.

Happy Birthday Beth!

Happy Belated Birthday Drew!

I'd think eating bacon two meals a day every day would kill you from the blocked arteries before lung problems could develop.

Swouncing

Sparky, congrats on the new job, then, with wishes of lots of wonderful new things in DC, not to replace, but on top of the Bay Area ones.

Kat! During Passover, when I used the very few computer minutes I had in order to check up on Noah and Grace, I had to explain to my mom why I was rushing to the computer whenever I had the chance. She got into the habit os asking me "so, how are the twins?" each time I logged off.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I think it's 14 times a MONTH, not a week. So...3-4 times a week.

Aw, Nilly, that's really sweet. They are growing and mostly quite and stable.

information libertarian

I think Nutty and Ellen S. had met IRL soon after or even before I started lurking at TT, so Nutty pointed out the connection. I don't know if they met through TT or already knew each other.

I remember meeting Ellen in college - she had this plan to paint her dorm room with vegetation and calligraphy like an illuminated manuscript.

Are you discovering fun stuff?

We are working on it. I have to say we've limited ourselves a bit with a "no eating out" rule while my DH is unemployed since we then feel compelled to discover stuff between meals. At our brunch we had people write things down for us -- where to eat, shop, walk, hike, etc., [Vortex wrote a whole page herself] so we have a good list now when we're feeling like we should try something new, or when we want to call someone and suggest we do something.

I. Love. Ellen. (also this is something I can see her still wanting to do.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh! It's so disjointed lurking during the work day. Makes me forget to do things like wish Drew and then beth happy birthdays.

I'm sitting here delaying getting dressed for work. I don't have a clean skirt that goes with the blouse I want to wear. I'm waffling about the colours of some of my tops coordinating with the new hair, and I have a new pair of boots I very much want to wear.

Perhaps I shall solve it all by wearing grey and black--and black long enough to cover some of the militariness of these.
