Right. Piano. Because that's what we used to kill that big demon that one time. No, wait. That was a rocket launcher.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

she had this plan to paint her dorm room with vegetation and calligraphy like an illuminated manuscript.

I. Love. Ellen. (also this is something I can see her still wanting to do.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh! It's so disjointed lurking during the work day. Makes me forget to do things like wish Drew and then beth happy birthdays.

I'm sitting here delaying getting dressed for work. I don't have a clean skirt that goes with the blouse I want to wear. I'm waffling about the colours of some of my tops coordinating with the new hair, and I have a new pair of boots I very much want to wear.

Perhaps I shall solve it all by wearing grey and black--and black long enough to cover some of the militariness of these.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I do believe that Ellen S and Nutty were living like a block and a half apart even if they hadn't yet met at that point!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Lee, did you not delurk until Firefly? I have this distinct memory of you inviting everyone to a Firefly viewing party. You were using the Perkins name then, and I may have been Suspicious of someone who (as far as I knew) delurked to lure people to their place and axe murder them.

I'd posted several times before that, but more or less.

No axe though, I swear.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Home Depot was fresh out, huh?

Home Despot has a better selection anyway.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Where did you met, Dana?

La Femme Nikita fandom. Then I convinced her to start writing slash. (You're all welcome.)

Swouncing

They are growing and mostly quite and stable

Well, I'm sure to let my mom know!

she had this plan to paint her dorm room with vegetation and calligraphy like an illuminated manuscript.

As if I didn't like Ellen enough already.

Oh, and ita! I can tie krav and the current subject of conversation, sort of, in reverse, thanks to you! A friend loaned me a book that takes place in LA. At some point, the main character gets taken to a krav maga class. And from all the description in the book, I think it's your center. I recognized the description of the place, and way things worked for an introductory class, even a couple of the names in the "thank you" list on the last page. It was so strange - how could reality filter into a book like that? The only difference was, the main character didn't really enjoy her lesson, and she described it as something that kept her muscles sore for days, while I was having the time of my life and could just go on. Oh, and she didn't get you to instruct her.

(Also, in my current belated fashion, congrats on the new job!)

La Femme Nikita fandom.

It's been, what, eight or nine years now? Dude. Weird. I guess time flies when you're busy being an internet pervert.
