flea, I've heard tell that whippets are very bright and quirky and vaguely catlike. The only whippet I've personally met didn't strike me as especially catlike, but he was certainly very poised and self-possessed and gentlemanly. Also, they're prone to fewer ugly genetic issues than most purebreds (I saw one book that claimed whippets in fact have none at all -- don't know how true that is, but anything even close to that is good).

To clarify:
One shooter, one victim, about 7:15 in a dorm - both shooter and victim are dead.
About two hours later - another shooter, right now about 20 dead and 20 wounded, and that shooter is still on the loose.
I'm majorly wigged. But not as much as my sister, whose birthday falls this week. (Waco, Columbine, and now this?)
