Wesley: Illyria can be...difficult. Testing her might be hard without getting someone seriously hurt. Angel: We'll make Spike do it. Wesley: Good.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's 10:14, and I damned well better try and sleep. Well, after I pick out tomorrow's clothes. Then sleep. I swear. Got to start the week out right.

I'm not sure why I thought CA taxes were due the 17th too, but I sent my state payment off yesterday anyway, and had grabbed my relatively paltry (seriously--I was unemployed three months) refund a while back.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Really? The Federal tax booklet is specific about states. I guess they changed their minds after it was printed. Well, anyway, it spurred me to get mine done tonight.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

TAR: I am so sick of Mirna! She is driving me nuts. Again. Still. But anyway, a fun ep. All the challenges were fun and interesting especially the crazy wall-climbing stuntfighters and the whoa with the flipping car! Too bad that was in the previews or it would have been much more fun.

I also liked the little boat thinger, although it clearly would have been more interesting if there had been any two teams there at the same time so they wouldn't have been so careful with them. Oh, and if it cost 20 on the tollway, how come Eric & Danielle made it if they only had 28 and paid a taxi-driver? I thought they were playing it up because she was going to cost them.

Oh, oh, and also what was it with showing the "no t-shirts, etc." sign if they didn't get called on all being dressed casually? Did I miss something?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Awful Plastic Surgery seems to think La Brit had lipo based on scars I can't see.

Seriously, all I see in the after pic is typical post-baby lumpy oatmeal belly. Have they never seen a non-airbrushed mama belly before?

Swouncing

Skipping and poking head to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is NoiseDesign's birthday. Happy birthday, ND! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

[Edit: 2*7=14. It's been so long since I even had post # to notice, and then this one just jumped right into my screen.]

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy birthdays!!

TAR: I'm with you, Liese, on wondering why they showed us that sign if no one was going to get kicked off a flight for being underdressed. Also, I cannot get over fucking Mirna trying to get the airline people to change the order of the standby list while at the same time saying that using the Yield is bad game play. I mean, seriously.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I assume they were just trying to build suspense that Danny and Oswald would get booted from the office.

That yield shit is idiotic, but eh - give Mirna some credit. She saw a chance to move them up and went for it. Though it was certainly nice to see how the different demeanors between them and the BQs seemed to be paying off. Where were Eric and Pink? If they'd been up at the counter with the BQs (and had mostly shut up and let them do the talking) that whole thing might've turned out differently.

Mirna is appalling, but as a team, they're really playing a lot harder than they used to. And I haven't seen them playing the little person card the way they did before. Plus, how could you not love Charla's wheely shoes?
