I forgot:

But did you hurt yourself?

Only if you count onion-induced blindness.

I did my state taxes yesterday. I broke even!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am annoyed far more than I probably should be that after e-filing my federal taxes I apparently still have to mail something in. Not, like, a check or anything, just a form saying I e-filed. Not large with the sense-making, if you ask me.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Also, about the taxes, not to enable anyone's procrastination, but it turns out they're not actually due until Tuesday, the 17th.

Ahh. Procrastination mode enabled.

Did everyone remember to request the telephone tax refund?

I actually redid mine to include that. I was mystified by it (and frankly, too lazy to read up on it) but then my parents lectured me and abashment set in...

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

It's a tax that was put in place to fund the Spanish-American War.

The IRS will only be refunding Taxes paid since ~2003. It's just as well, I mean, I could never find my phone bills from 1890.

Art Crawl!!!

Huh. Are you sure about that? Because I e-filed and I didn't have to send anything in.

Perhaps I should phone them and find out.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Last year I had to send something in for Federal. This year not.

Want my pizza.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I didn't have to mail anything in.

I wonder what I'm going to have for dinner, as I don't really have any food in the house, but just ordered pizza late last week, so I don't want to do that again.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

There's an extra line on the return for people who just request the standard amount and don't bother to dig out all their old phone bills. The standard amount for an individual taking one exemption is $30. So, you know, it's a new pair of shoes. Which I have already bought.
