Wesley: I stabbed you. I should apologize for that. But I'm honestly not sure how. I think it'll just be awkward. Gunn: Good call. Wesley: Okay.

People are learning not to talk to me until after the meeting.

If only you could teach them not to talk to you at all...

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

If only you could teach them not to talk to you at all...

That might make the job a little harder, but I'd be willing to give a shot.

So the COMM stuff sent me over to the BRQG, and what should come up but:

PMM: I have a theory that any children we have will be short, round little things with a good deal of hair and large eyes. Fat lemurs, really.

Rio's muffin rant

Oh, that clears it up.

And then another clump would arrive 2-15 minutes later, and if there were any New York-istas in that clump, the same thing would happen all over again. Phrased exactly the same, with the same intonation and everything.

Pretty damned funny to the non-New York-istas.

It's funny.

A friend of mine from college visited mutual friends in NYC and said she got dirty looks in a bakery in NYC asking about blueberry muffins. So we always ask for blueberry when we send Keith out for bagels. It's tradition.

Of course now I'm hungry for muffins.

Since the orb is out, we should really go outside today.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

A friend of mine from college visited mutual friends in NYC and said she got dirty looks in a bakery in NYC asking about blueberry muffins.

What more authentic kind of muffin can there be? Unless she was like, in a cupcake bakery, or in the city on a day with a vowel in it, which is "asking questions gets you a dirty look" day.

Also, I never forgot that fat lemur quote!

Ooops. Sorry she asked for a blueberry bagel. Freudian slip.

Happy Birthday Lillian! What a gorgeous child she is...and how prescient Plei's quote.

Hey, anybody interested in exercising your creative critique muscles?

The team helping me to rebrand my business is at a standstill because each is disagreeing with the other. There are a lot of oh noes! and not enough this will works.

In the meanwhile, I'm tapping my fingers, missing opportunities and feeling like I can't send anything out until we get it right.

To that end, I would love to hear some unvarnished suggestions for improving this very rough homepage design and this stab at a logo.

I won't say what others have said, good or bad, to ensure a clean control group. But I will express frustration with content free critique. I nearly burst into tears this afternoon, wanting to shout, DUDE, I get that it doesn't say what you think ought to be said, but NOT saying what you think ought to be said isn't going to get it said!"

Note: The major text is the very roughest of drafts. It's already changed a bit...but any thoughts on that would be helpful too. And the article titles are place holders.

I'd be grateful for any impressions, thoughts on the color palette, navigation points, overall design, and anything else that comes to mind.

Profile addy is good.
