Tara: That was funny if you've studied Taglarin mystic rites and... are a total dork... Riley: Then how come Xander didn't laugh?

aw, that was a fun page (the COMM page starting with Rio's "eat a muffin whitey" spiel) to read, like a mega Buff-dive.

ETA: I have also learned that my husband is v.v. ranty about bagels! That has not manifested so far in our married life.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I don't know if I could do that. I mean....

People are learning not to talk to me until after the meeting.

It looks like I'm going to miss the annual office bowling shindig that is taking place tomorrow. It's tragic, I tell you.

If only you could teach them not to talk to you at all...

That might make the job a little harder, but I'd be willing to give a shot.

So the COMM stuff sent me over to the BRQG, and what should come up but:

PMM: I have a theory that any children we have will be short, round little things with a good deal of hair and large eyes. Fat lemurs, really.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Rio's muffin rant

Oh, that clears it up.

And then another clump would arrive 2-15 minutes later, and if there were any New York-istas in that clump, the same thing would happen all over again. Phrased exactly the same, with the same intonation and everything.

Pretty damned funny to the non-New York-istas.

It's funny.

A friend of mine from college visited mutual friends in NYC and said she got dirty looks in a bakery in NYC asking about blueberry muffins. So we always ask for blueberry when we send Keith out for bagels. It's tradition.

Of course now I'm hungry for muffins.

Since the orb is out, we should really go outside today.

or possibly, easier.

What a perfect PMM quotation for today!
