Mal: Well, you were right about this being a bad idea. Zoe: Thanks for sayin', sir.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Kat, if you can squeeze me on your friendslist for Noah and Grace updates, that would be awesome: noradeirdre

Librarian Warlord

Kat, I'd also love to see the updates: lili_beth

I like the idea of Necco wafers, but not so much the taste.

Nora!!!

Yeah that's pretty much all I got at this point in the morning. Coffee not working so good. Luckily, whatever bug blindsided me Tuesday night seems to have completely vacated.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm reorganizing my backups this morning -- seriously, because I've been reorganizing my home office, I've come across so many discs from 2002 and 2003 and so on. So I'm spindling all the pre-2006 backups, which will go live in the cellar, hopefully far enough away if a fire destroys most of the house, it would either not get the computer, or else the backups on the other side of it.

It's that or bury them in my backyard.

You could put them in a fireproof box.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh yeah, I knew there was something! I love Necco wafers! LOVE. Even the black ones. And was very sad when the factory in Cambridge closed, even though I don't even live there.

I took some expired Dayquil this morning, and I can't decide if it's doing anything at all.

ION, I seriously need to figure out work for my new staff person. She didn't have anything to do yesterday, and that's terrible!

2 years of Lillibean? Wow.

I had the oddest dream. I walked into my dining room and the table and attendent clutter was missing. I figured it hadn't been stolen because who needs all that clutter? I just couldn't see it. So I took a box of random files from another room, put it in the dining room and lo and behold, the table and clutter was back! There's a commentary on my cluttering habits in there somewhere.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

We've talked about the "Girls Gone Wild" guy a few times. The consensus was that he's an ass.

Here's the latest:

Joe Francis, the 34-year-old multimillionaire founder of the Girls Gone Wild video empire, has been charged with tax evasion. He's already being held without bail on contempt of court charges for allegedly shouting obscenities and threatening seven women during civil suit settlement negotiations.

He's charged with deducting over $20 million in bogus business expenses, including $3.78 million to build a house in Punta Mita, Mexico. He's also accused of using an offshore bank to conceal income.

...

The "Girls Gone Wild" guy has now been caught with drugs in his cell. Also trying to bribe a guard with a $100 bill. And the president of the company that produces his DVD's has been charged with smuggling the pills and cash to him in jail.

Heh.
