msbelle, you have discipline. You also have a raft of crazy at work and a loved child at home and little to no downtime. Work, but don't beat up my msbelle for needing to breathe.
Kat, I've emailed her links, but she ..well. It's the internet. Mom doesn't venture far or do the reload thing, so I continually have to send her links. It's kinda adorkable. And I will give her your greetings.
Dad'd probably only take a 6 month sabbatical (it sells better and he thinks it is plenty of time to get the new/old guy up to speed) then come back for a year. I have no idea what he'd do in retirement. I don't think he does either. I mean, he's always been good about having extracurriculars (spanish, flute, tae kwon do, S&R) but he's the type who thrives on all his hours filled (unlike me. I just like people and that can fulfill me.) I suspect his retirement needs to involve a full time extracurricular. But he's not figured out what that might be. My brain goes a little boom at the R word.
Idiots are occasionally going to be told they are idots. It happens. They should get used to it.
Eta: What were you going to comment, sumi? I think I'm passed the reveal. And not that concerned about spoilage at this point.
She should, but I should have been less open about it too.
Also, either gmail or Emily's email is freaking out. I've gotten close to 200 messages from her in the last 5 minutes.
Discipline is really not the issue when it comes to working your 9-5 job at 10pm. IJS.
Did the rest of the country get this cute story about a Queens couple paying a cabbie to drive them to Arizona? [link]

Or they could also stop being idiotic, but that seems too much to hope for.
I did not know that the Necco Factory is in Cambridge. Screw Harvard. Cambridge is the home of the Button Candy!
I did not know that the Necco Factory is in Cambridge.
I swear, I hear a radio piece on this. But in relation to what or where, I cannot say. I have the ability to store all sorts of useless info. Except the stuff that will DRIVE ME CRAZY trying to place. Or, you know, useful crap.
I used to drive by it all the time when I lived in Cambridge. The air smells like NECCO wafers when they are cooking some up--very cool. It's near MIT, fairly close to Boston.
sarameg, it was probably Steve Almond, author of Candyfreak, talking about it?
Mmm... Necco wafers.
Robin, I hope you are feeling better.

Now you are freaking me out. Cause he has a B'more connection, I think. (Maybe lisah?) and I don't know if it was him. More crazy brain failings!
I told my mom she should send you chile cheese bread, when she asked. Given she hasn't even sent me, her OWN DAUGHTER, any, don't hold your breath. But it cracked me up, how she was quizzing me. You want an extra mom?
