Feel better!
Thanks. I thought I did, but my temp is back in the 101 range. Meh. I don't feel as achey, but, LORD, I do not feel good.
Random sickness is really of the ugh, especially on a Wednesday.
Eh, I'd rather be sick in the middle of the week than during the weekend, that's for sure. Much as if the temprature is only going to break in to the mid-30s to low 40s, I'd SOOOOO much rather have snow than rain (or "wintery FUCKING mix"). He says eyeing the MA forecast for the next week and throwing up in his mouth a little.
Frank, why do you keep heating up your body with lots of covers and hot showers? You need to cool it down. Take something (if you haven't already), drink a lot, dress lightly and loosely, and if you're terribly chilled cover up with a sheet. No bundling up. t mother
(sorry -- doesn't close -- tried to not post anything earlier, thought I succeeded when your fever went down, but now not so much)
Jessica, that's great! and wrong..... the egg especially...

So it will burn out whatever nasty little bug is trying to kill me.

See, what my PCP told me once upon a time is that taking ibuprofen/aspirin is all well and good for the aches and pains, but it won't kill the underlying critter, which is why my body is heating up in the first place. The more I can help it out by bundling up and raising the temprature externally, the sooner the varmint is dead (and I speak from years of experience in piling on covers and sweating out fevers - I rarely am sick for more than a day or two the way I've been doing things, wheras most people I know seem to get their various icks for days to weeks on end).
But I do appreciate the concern.
That pancake looked awful eggy.

This is true, but you feel more comfortable while you have the fever, and you're not in danger of frying your brain or dehydrating.

I don't medicate just-fever fevers for myself that are under 100 and don't medicate just-fever fevers for my kids that are under 101, but driving one up is another matter altogether.
Okay. Shutting up. I hope you feel better, soon.

I think my favorite is the picture showing how not to cut it into rails.
I am bedraggled.
It's tough to look fresh as a daisy when you're in the midst of another snowpocalypse.
