Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

Hey! FNLers!

April 11 · On the next Fresh Air: As the first season of Friday Night Lights draws to a close, guest host Dave Davies talks with the show’s director and executive producer, Peter Berg. The NBC series on the gritty, high-stakes world of Texas high-school football just won a Peabody award.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Well, it turns out she's in early stage kidney failure. For now, she'll be put on special food, and I need to bring her back to the vet in three months. Hopefully this will be a slow progression.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Oh, poor Boots! Healing kidney~ma for the kitty.

Art Crawl!!!

Aw, poor kitty.

And Daisy Jane -- thanks for the FNL heads up. . . do they put the show up on the website the next day?

That day, I believe. The show on Einstien from today is already up.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The cashier at CVS just told me to "be careful out there" because of wild coyotes and tornados.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Of course not. Everyone knows pink is the proper color for figments.

Aww. Figments have their own pigments.

Aw, hoping Boots responds well to treatment.

OK, so I went and looked up when I was in Spain, and it was indeed the first week an April, 11 years ago. And I made the mistake of reading some of the non-travel related entries. Holy hell, so much mental drama and wroughtness. Angst! I can laugh at it now, even as I ain't letting anyone else read it. I consider myself pretty navel-gazing now, but people. Not like that! Eeash. Well, I guess that's what teens (even when they are 20) do. And dang, I totally forgot I had such a crush on that boy. Goodness.

Hee. Every once in a while, when I want to take myself down a couple of pegs, of if I'm feeling overly angsty, I pull out my journals from HS.

And then I laugh and laugh and laugh at me.
