I like books. I just don't want to take on too much. Do they have an introduction to the modern blurb?

Under twenty!

Howdy peeps. I got waaay behind in N50, so I just waited for the new thread.

I was just listening to A Prairie Home Companion on NPR and heard a great Cuban band, YeraSon. I came home and went to buy some of their stuff on Itunes, but they're not even listed. Looking at the band web page, I'm not sure they have CDs to sell. They certainly don't have a link to buy something from their site.

In other fun news (x-posted from Bitches) this Firedog Lake post about Michelle Malkin's latest nuttiness includes a Firefly shoutout. Sadly, no one in the comments section seems to have noticed.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesse, did you just go to Target recently?

I did, yesterday.

Well, I'd drag in my not-so-comfortable chair, but the cat is currently curled up on it. It seems to be her favorite chair in every season other than winter--I moved it to make room for the Christmas tree, then moved it back to its usual place in January, but she never got on it until yesterday. This might mean that she'll stop curling up next to me on my bed pretty soon; she seems to not do that when the weather's nice out (apparently, I'm only good for body heat!).

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Sean, given that they've just been on a nationally-broadcast radio show, that just seems silly of them.

For those of you playing the home game, my bedroom is now clean. At this point, my office is the only part of the apartment not clean, and it may not be getting there, but I'm going to try!

Well, we definitely need a bar.

Sean, that post would make me laugh if it weren't so very sad.

THAT'S WHAT I'M SAYING! I mean seriously! I thought they were so good, I had to immediately buy some of their music. I am disappointed with how easily I was foiled in that plan.

The award for Most Vile and Nasty Fembot still goes to Coulter, just for sheer volume of nastiness, but Malkin regularly outdoes her in single instances of nastiness.
