Dita von Teese managed to be nekkid and not ho baggish while with Marilyn. Interestingly enough, Rose now looks more stylistically like Dita.

I skimmed Dita's books the other day, and they made me understand even more how not like that I am, how not able to put on a face or a persona or even consistent dress, and how I still think it's something I'd like to be able to do.

Then again I wore a corset to work last week. A friend today was shocked to hear it was on the outside of my clothes. What? And waste the pretty? Though I do have some clothes I wonder if it will fit underneath.

And today I bought more stockings for my garter belt. Seamed fishnets among others. No idea when those are going to be busted out.

And, dammit, I love my Batsignal baby tee. I couldn't be one thing, even many lovely variations on same.

Sydney in Grindhouse. The Grindhouse gals. I read that Rose demanded no one else wear red to the premiere. Double oops.

I also read she had an affair with Robert Rodriguez. Despite his wife being on set and all.

Emmett will be very happy. He loves being god and striking people and sheep down with lighting bolts. He laughs with awful glee at the flying gibbets.

I really should hook him up with Halo and send him after Peev and MM.

I don't know if this is true of Wrath, but in the new version, the more cows you kill with a single lightning bolt, the louder the explosion.

Library Thing frightens me. It's one of those things that sounds wonderful, but would surely prove so addictive I'd never leave the computer.

This is exactly why I haven't even gone to the website. Addictive plus compulsive = very bad for Kristins.

Oh, and in case anyone is wondering why I'm posting in the middle of the night, my insomnia has decided to pay a little visit. How nice of it! The funny thing is that I had to take muscle relaxers and a Vicoden about an hour ago because I tweaked my back while redecorating/rearranging the bedroom tonight, so my insomnia is paired with a loopy brain. Trying to walk in a straight line in order to fetch my laptop was an interesting experiment. Which failed, spectacularly.

Tomorrow morning is Easter(ish) brunch with Tom Scola (who's currently sleeping soundly in our guest room) and some of the LAistas. I'd really like to not fall asleep in my blueberry pancakes. That would be good.

I'm rambling. Vicoden pretty. Insomnia bad.
